Went on a Hot Date

It had been so long since Jon and I had been on a date I can't even remember the last time we went. We were just about to go and Riley took these pictures of us. Jon hates getting his picture taken so when ever it happens he makes faces. He keeps me laughing!
Here I am 21 weeks (a little over 5 months) Pregnant.

Today was a sick day... wait no... A snow day!

So this morning Riley came down stairs and said she was not feeling well still and did not think she should go to school, Preston then came down and said the same thing. We have been sick with colds and sour throats at our house (Poor Jon has a sinus infection). Later that morning Pyper wanted to go play out in the fresh falling snow. I got us ready then Preston and Riley wanted to come out. They seemed to be feeling much better. So, we all went out and played. I would have made Riley and Preston go to school, but lets face it, they are just playing these 2 and 1/2 days until the winter Break. First we went sledding and then we built this little snow man.
Then, Jackson and Alanna came over to play from across the street. These two boys play so well together. It's okay that Preston wont have a brother because he will have Jackson and his two brothers to grow up with.
Pyper and Alanna just as cute as can be in the snow.

Riley's Christmas Choir Concert

Here is Riley's class along with the middle age group.
Riley singing her solo.
Let it snow!Pyper put on Aunt Janae's glasses. Pyper copied Riley's teacher and lead the music. She also went out to the middle of the isle and waved at Riley up on stage until Riley waved back. So dang cute the love between the kids!Paige, Grayson, Jon, Riley, Aunt Janea, Grandma & Grandpa Moser. Riley's teacher and her class.
Here is another group shot. (Paige was chasing Grayson around)

This years Ginger Bread House

Every year we do a ginger bread house. This year we went over to Debra and Jason Raymonds house and built along next to the Raymond cousins. I kicked myself for forgetting my camera! We brought it home and I made them wait to eat it while I took a picture.
Then they dug in!

We found out in May I will have....

an ALIEN!? No, it's another Palmer girl!
Her cute little foot.

Decorating the Christmas Tree

Jon was smart and put up Pyper's old baby gate.

Saying goodbye to part of my past... so sad!

Old Nisson's closed this November. I stopped in one last time while down for Thanksgiving. I worked here from the age of 15 to the end of high school. Two of my sisters worked here also. I grew up going here for penny candy. It seems like went at least once a week while growing up. Here is Quentin Nisson. One of the sweetest, neatest old men I know. He is 93 now. I gave him a hug goodbye and he kissed me on the cheek. I had to choke back my tears.
Here is a bit of history of the store. In the mail this week I got this wonder print of a painting a lady from my home town of Washington painted. My longtime friend Lacey sent it to me for Christmas. She worked at the 2nd Nisson's grocery store while I worked at the Nisson's V&S store. She said it made her think of me and the good ol'times. Many, many Washington City people are so sad to see this place go. We will miss you Mr. Nisson!

Thanksgiving in Southern Utah

We had a blast (a warm one) while at my mom and dad's for Thanksgiving!
Here is Jon with my brother's David and Nathan. They were frying the turkey.
Thanksgiving morning all of the leaves had fallen from the trees. This made for hours of fun!
Annie, Max, Keal & Preston
Jon is totally getting my sister Sharon with leaves. Preston is going to get him, just look out!
My sister-in-law Christa holding baby Hank.
The bunch of us having a great time.
Pyper is after me!
Our family. Remember I am a little chubby because I am over 4 months pregnant.
They raked the leaves in to a big pile and the kids all jumped off the brick wall in to them.
Preston's cool jump!
Riley is at it!
Annie looks so cute. James is getting help from his dad.Another one of RileyPyper having her mom help.James, Riley, Annie, Carter and Pyper. They are all sitting in the swing Dana built for my Dad the fathers day before he (Dana) passed away.Riley had my camera and took this sweet shot!
Thanksgiving Dinner!

The next day Carter came in to the bathroom while I was putting on make up. He wanted a little on him, so I helped him out.
On Saturday Riley went to Enterprise with Aunt Shiloh and Uncle Nathan. Preston, Pyper and I went hiking on the red hill. My kids love the red hill.

We always have to get a frozen yogurt from Dixie Nutrition. Yum!
We headed out Sunday along with all the other crazy people. It was a slow drive home in bad weather. It took us almost 10 hours with stops. Normally it takes 4. I am so glad Jon is a great and easy going driver!
In the picture below you see Riley watching a movie. Pyper had fallen asleep reading.
Here is an older couple that was pulling a camper trailer just out side of Parowan.
We are going north bound, this was on the south bound road on I-15. All of the south bound traffic had been detoured because of this overturned tanker.
This is what we saw most of the way home. No fun.
