Twilight

I joined the mobs of people (99% women) going to see the Twilight movie last night, or should I say this morning? I met the girls at Red Robin a little after 10:00 p.m. The excitement in the air was so fun! We headed over to the movie after dinner or should I say late night snack? The movie started at midnight. Everyone cheered, laughed, and screamed out as they watched the show. It was so fun. For me, the movie was okay. I would give it 3 stars. The people are what made it a great experience! As I left I ran into an old friend of mine that I had not seen in about 10 years. It was so great to see Joy in her hooker shoes and all! I got home around 2:30. It took me forever to wind down from all the excitement. I think I finally fell to sleep around 4:00, just in time for Pyper to wake up to eat. Then it was up at 7:00 to get going for the day. You would think I would be taking a nap instead of blogging, but I can’t sleep because of the noise of the work being done in our basement.
I took Pyper in for her 4 month appointment this morning. She is in the 50th Percentile for everything but her head is in the 25th. On top of those mean shots we found out she has and ear infection. She has had a cold too. She’s a happy baby even with the yucky sicknesses.

Look who's 4 months old!

Yesterday Pyper turned 4 months old. We went to the park with Sarah and her kids for a picnic and to play. Here are Pyper and Alanna hanging out in the strollers. Alanna is just 7 days older then Pyper.

Riley and Pyper were hanging out on my bed waiting/watching me get ready to go. Pyper was totally snuggling in with Riley. I had to get some shots of it!

I love all the love!

The reception was beautiful. The food was great. The couple was so happy!

My two girls sitting at a table. This was before Pyper pooped through her whole out fit. Thank goodness I had an extra set of clothes in her diaper bag. Jon and Preston stayed home sick.

Vegas Wedding Pictures

In a previous blog (2 years of being a Palmer) I told about Jon and I jetting down to Vegas to get married in July of 2006. I just received the pictures from my wonderful friend Hillary. Here they are:

We had to look for the marriage license building. We found it (an adventure in its self) and Jon and I went in to do the paper work.

The people inside were very interesting. It was fun and crazy that we were doing this!

THE ENTERTAINMENT...While we were inside the rest of our group waited outside. This security guy decided they needed a lecture on how to have a good marriage. Hillary asked him how many years he had been married. He said he was not married that he had been divorced 3 times.

Jon and I got the paper work and headed back out to the rest of the group. Now off to the wedding chapel

THE CHAPEL... It was so glamorous. The same chapel Britney Spears had gotten married in. Because of that we knew our marriage would be great!

Here we are doing a little more paperwork. Signing our license and all the formalities.

OUR WITNESS... Paige and Hillary were our witnesses.

THE REFRESHMENTS... Oh yah! We went all out!

THE WEDDING PARTY... Here were the people who made the night so fun from start to finish. We laughed all night... even during the ceremony. Most of you might think Jon and I are nuts to go to Vegas to get married. Some of you even expressed that we were! But, we had already done the whole big wedding with the entire family thing. We were already sealed to our deceased spouses, so no need for anything else. GOOD TIMES!
