Visiting family in St.George

While visiting Mam & Grumpy my friend Trisa and her family came over for dinner. What ever the kids ask my mom (Mam) to do she would do it. Preston said he wanted Ginger Ale & Root Beer mixed together.. so she did it. Then all the kids had to try it.

My niece Annie was in a bad mood. She did not want me taking pictures of her.

This is my cute little nephew James. He was not shy. He held his arms up for me to hold him and snuggled me. Loved it!

Look at all the snow! We go to St.George to get out of it. It snowed and snowed while we were down there.

This is My sister Sharon's 15 month old Carter. He is amazing on my parents stairs. Check him out!

Swimming while visiting my Parents.

We enjoyed the Washington City Rec Center pool 3 days in a row! My good friend Monique and her kids joined us for a day.

At Home

We had a fun Christmas Eve lunch.

We had fun building a snow man and fort.

Jon is painting down in the basement. I will be so glad when it is all done.

I let the kids decorate the tree all by themselves this year. I only moved a couple to the top as directed. There are no decorations on the back of the tree and we used our smaller tree because the boxes were buried in a back dark corner of the basement. It was hard to get to what we got because of the construction.

Rub a Dub - Three boys in the tub! We got to baby sit Jackson & Paul while their mom and dad went to a work Christmas party. It was so fun!

Breakfast with Santa

For pre-school Preston got to have breakfast with Santa today. Jackson and Preston brought their moms and little siblings along for the fun. In this picture below Preston was sporting his Christmas sweater to see Santa in. He also has Santa socks. The sweater got too itchy and he changed it to his dinosaur shirt... Santa likes dinosaurs too!

Eating with Santa

Santa read them a fun story.

Preston asked Santa for a lot of things. Among them was a squirt gun. Santa said it was a little too cold for that. Preston does not care. It's not like he would squirt himself!

Riley’s Braces

Riley got braces a week ago. I’m not sure the orthodontist had seen a kid more excited to have braces. I wish you all could have seen her that afternoon. Everything was, “Mom, this is the first time I am eating with braces! This is the first time I’m walking up the stairs with braces! This is the first time I’m driving in a car with braces! This is the first time I’m going to bed with braces!” I am not exaggerating! She said that for everything she did. Jon and I were just chuckling to our selves. The excitement has worn off and she is already for them to be off her teeth. She hates brushing them 4-5 times a day. Good thing she only has to have them for 4 or 5 months.

What big sisiters do to little brothers...

I let Riley take the camera up to her room while she dressed up Preston. This is some of what I found on my camera. Who needs dolls when you can dress up and pose your little brother!

And watch this video to see how happy Jon was with it!

Around the Palmer house

I hesitate in posting this picture and the story that goes with it. I hope no one gets offended. Riley and Preston wanted to play with this box. They came down stairs and said, “Mom, you have to come see what game we are playing!” They were excited. I went up to Preston’s room and found this… They said they were playing “poor people” that live in boxes. They had their hands out asking in meek voices “money, money?”

While I was making dinner last night Riley was playing with Pyper. She made her a “Queen’s throne.” This is Riley on the Phone with Grandma and Pyper in her throne.

Pyper is loving her throne and still loves that tongue!
