Twilight

I joined the mobs of people (99% women) going to see the Twilight movie last night, or should I say this morning? I met the girls at Red Robin a little after 10:00 p.m. The excitement in the air was so fun! We headed over to the movie after dinner or should I say late night snack? The movie started at midnight. Everyone cheered, laughed, and screamed out as they watched the show. It was so fun. For me, the movie was okay. I would give it 3 stars. The people are what made it a great experience! As I left I ran into an old friend of mine that I had not seen in about 10 years. It was so great to see Joy in her hooker shoes and all! I got home around 2:30. It took me forever to wind down from all the excitement. I think I finally fell to sleep around 4:00, just in time for Pyper to wake up to eat. Then it was up at 7:00 to get going for the day. You would think I would be taking a nap instead of blogging, but I can’t sleep because of the noise of the work being done in our basement.
I took Pyper in for her 4 month appointment this morning. She is in the 50th Percentile for everything but her head is in the 25th. On top of those mean shots we found out she has and ear infection. She has had a cold too. She’s a happy baby even with the yucky sicknesses.

Another Vampire in the family!! Haha just joking. My sister Tenille went and saw the movie at midnight too, with her one week old baby. My Mom is dragging my Dad to it tonight. He has know idea what he's in for.
I did take a little quiz just to see what vampire I was. I'm "Alice", I have know idea who she even is, but thought I'd join in some of the Twilight fun with my sister. She has the quiz on her blog if your interested.

Hello! Maryann...your friend with the grey sweater...is her name Amy? I'm sure it is her! She grew up with my husband (Jason), and for sure went to High School together. Crazy...it's a small world! I wish I could have gone last night! It sounds like all the ladies had so much fun. My Mom went out in Sacramento. Anyway, we really need to get together soon!

Sounds like a great night. I've heard mixed reviews from fellow bloggers. I'm still excited to go see it with friends in a few days..

OK this is odd...are you sure she is from CAlifornia? JAson grew up in UT. Down just outside of Richfield. But weird..her name is AMy though...I'll have to show Jason the picture. :-)

Okay, so I will admit I was one of the many women who waited in line to see EDWARD or Twilight too. I even went with a sinus infection and flu at the same time....pathetic, I know. Sounds like you had a great time with the girls. I miss our outings together. When can we have one again??

I would have to agree with you about the movie ~ I thought it was good but I thought there were some goofy parts. I hope when the make the next on that their budget is a little higher and the effects are a little better.
Don't get me wrong, I loved the movie ~ to be able to see it all come alive.

Fun to see another person I know there! I think I can even see my makeup-less face in the background! Glad you had fun, it was pretty silly!
