PYPER LAURA

Pyper Laura Palmer came to us on July 17th @ 7:30 P.M. She was 7 lbs & 2 ounces.
19 & 1/2 inches long.

It has been fun figuring out who she looks like and where different features of her body come from. These feet are just like Grandma Mosers!

At the hospital they found that Pyper had Jaundice. They had us keep her in this Bilibed as much as we could only to take her out to feed and change her diaper. They just let us take her off the bed yesterday. She was on it for a week. No fun for anyone!
Riley and Preston are so happy to have Pyper here. They tell me they love her all of the time. They kept her happy when she would fuss in the Bilibed. Preston even put a sticker on her forehead to try and make her happy. Preston makes up songs and sings to her. I still have a little belly on me. Preston hugged it the other day and said he was going to miss my belly when it was gone. He said “It is my pillow.” Riley is the best helper! She went with Pyper and me to the Dr. yesterday. She held stuff for me and opened doors. She is the best big sister ever. I am the luckiest mom ever!

This is Jon's first time holding pyper. I took the picture from my bed. The way Jon is with Pyper has made me fall even more in love with him. I am also the luckiest wife ever!

My mom is over the top! She came to stay with us 4 days before Pyper arrived. My dad is going to come and take her home in 2 days. (It will be so sad!) She has spoiled all of us. I think Jon wants her to just move in with us permanently. She cooks, cleans, does laundry and anything else she can think of to keep me off my feet. If I try and do anything she makes me sit back down. She is just so wonderful in every way. Right now she is making me one of my favorite disserts. I love her so much. I can't express how fabulous she is. This is my sister Laura and our kids. Pyper’s middle name is Laura after this sister.

My great neighbor and friend Sarah and I started walking together over a year ago. We both talked about wanting babies. We would fantasize together about having them around the same time. We wanted them both to be girls and to have red hair. While on a walk one morning last November, I let her know I was pregnant. A couple of days later Sarah let me know she was also. Our dreams were coming true! We were due 2 days apart. Her baby girl Alanna Liberty came exactly a week before Pyper. Here is a picture of Sarah just 12 hours after having her baby. She looks glamorous for just having a baby!
Alanna Liberty: 7 lbs 1 oz. 18 inches long
Sarah’s oldest boy Jackson is the same age as Preston. They are best friends and go to pre-school together. They were rocking out in the hospital rocking chair.
Alanna came to visit Pyper in the hospital. Here is one of their first pictures together.
