August 2013 Girls Night Out

I am really enjoying my new friends here in Salina. Here is a bunko/Girls night out group I get to have a blast with. : Autumn, Ashley, Kjersten, Jaymie, Elissa, Maryann, Sandy, Dani, Jenny, Cristen, Launa, & Katie.

Pyper's First Day of Kindergarten

I was prepping Pyper for starting afternoon kindergarten. I was talking to her about raising her hand if she had a question or to answer the teacher's question. I reminded her where the bathroom was. She said, "If you would just put a diaper on me I wouldn't have to know where the bathroom was."

She was so ready to go to her first day of kindergarten. When we got out of the car she walked ahead of me and told me she knew the way. As if to say, see ya later mom, don't need you anymore.

I for some crazy reason did not take the first day of school pictures of my older two. They started a week before Pyper. I blame it on mom brain. So, here are all of my cute kids together the end of August.

We met Anne who is a Marine Biologist while looking for critters. She and Riley hit it off and scheduled to meet her again another day. She taught us a bit about the critters under the rocks.

End of July 2013

Jon and I took Riley and Preston to the air port in Vegas to visit Grandma & Grandpa Drew. We stayed two nights and visited the Count's Customs shop.

We also went the largest collection of cars on display while there.

Pioneer Day 2013

The FFA from the high school put on the little kids rodeo. The kids chased all kinds of animals!

Preston even won some cash.
