Best Easter Hunt/Games EVER!
Okay, I think I fell in love with Redmond this weekend! This was the best Easter celebration I had ever been too! So small town and so wonderful! This was held in the foot hill of Redmond. We are going to come back every year even if we live in Salina!
Here is Riley running for some eggs! They hid some easy for the little kids, but the big kids had to hike up the hill!

This is Pyper in the running race for her age. She is telling me she is not going to run because she has her boots on and not her shoes. She walked the whole way.

I played the egg tossing game with my friend Gretchen. We did pretty well!
It did happen to break on me, but I made sure and shared it with a hug!

The things she says....
The house we rent in is a bit older and the closet in my bedroom only fits Jon's clothes. So, I put mine in Ellie's room. (Being that Jon changes in and out of clothes at all hours of the day and night) The other morning I put Ellie down for a nap and brought my clothes for the day and put them on my bed while I took a shower. I was done, in my towel, and putting on my make-up and Jon was in the bathroom brushing his teeth. Pyper came to the bathroom door with my bra at her chest and said, “Look! I have big pribits!” (Privets) Jon and I looked at each other not quite sure how we should respond, then we looked back at her and she my bra up to her eyes, brought the bra down a bit and called out, “peek-a-boo!”
Last night Jon was doing a lay out of our property/new house for the sprinkler system. I noticed a 60x65 live stalk pin. I let him know this would not be happening! So, it turned in to a family discussion on how the kids and Jon would take care of the sheep, chickens, dogs, bunnies, and all other animals desired by my husband and children. It was my family against me! It was my turn to say family prayer and I thanked God for all the animals and how we could admire them without owning them. While I was saying this I heard Pyper say, “Just one chick!” in a desperate whisper. I look up and see these big blue eyes pleading with me, and then she whispered, “And, just one bunny!”

Library reading time
My friend Gretchen does the local library reading time. I had my camera with me to take pictures of the house and thought they looked so cute! I snapped this shot.

We did this on Tuesday on our back patio. I had to pull the 2 oldest out of school while the cement was still wet enough. I love it! 
March 30th: BBQ with friends
When ever Matt and Starr are in town they are always good to get us together for a BBQ. It is a wonderful time with great friends! Below: Julie, Jamie, Starr, Jennifer, Jeff, Deann, Ellie & Matt.
I left the three older kids home with Jon and just took the baby. Here she is with Maddison and Scottlynn.
Also while we were in town we hung out with Grandma Patsi and the Hendrickson gang! Here we are at the Brick Oven for lunch on Saturday.
